  • Prestonpans Battlesite
  • Craigmillar Castle (Season 3 location)
  • Palace of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh
  • Outlander/Jacobite walking tour of Royal Mile, Edinburgh

Overnight Edinburgh

Sept 27 Visit Outlander locations in Fife:

  • Aberdour Castle
  • Dysart harbour
  • Falkland
  • Culross

Overnight Edinburgh

Sept 28 – Travel northwards today as we explore:

  • Hopetoun House
  • Midhope Castle
  • Blackness Castle
  • Doune Castle

Overnight Dunblane

Sept 29 – Northwards to Inverness visiting:

  • Tullibardine Chapel
  • Tibbermore Church
  • Indian Camp (Season 4)
  • Craig na Dun – picnic lunch here
  • Highland Folk Museum, Newtonmore

Overnight Inverness

Sept 30- Spend today exploring the Inverness area:

  • Clava Cairns
  • Culloden Battlefield
  • Beauly Priory
  • Wardlaw Mausoleum

Overnight Inverness

Oct 1 – Travel west through the Great Glen:

  • Urquhart Castle
  • Loch Ness
  • Fort Augustus – highland dress and weaponry presentation
  • Glenfinnan Monument

Overnight Fort William

Oct 2 – Head south to Glasgow:

  • Glencoe
  • Pollock Park
  • Glasgow Cathedral
  • George Square

Return to Edinburgh
